My friend Drax Ireland, a wonderful poet, just wrote this and sent it to me:

the half painted mutant cow
stood patiently in her stall
occasionally kicking out at the painter
heads looking in different directions
innocently
wishing for a mirror to monitor the Missy creation
dreaming of meandering in a rolling meadow
heads bobbing boisterously, bovinely.
