Dante's Vestibule

So I spent my first shift sitting at Big Umbrella. I have gotten over my initial turned-offedness since speaking with one of their more solid members. She assures me that they are not usually so disorganized and scattered. I think I can find a balance there and I'm sure I can have a solo show there this year if I want to. Also, I sold 2 pieces (other artist's) that were hanging in the show during my shift and the member I talked to said she sold a ton of work there last year.
So, I think I'll stay.
Also, I had next to nothing to do while I was there and managed to draw my idea for the Dante's Inferno show. I'm pretty excited about this show. I think it's going to be super cool. It;s at Space Gallery, next month. I was inspired by a bit from the Inferno that described the area inside the gates of hell, where the sort of apathetic folks hang out. They are stung by wasps and have their tears and blood sipped on by maggots and insects. Poor little guys.
